Elementary Special Education Teacher | Pleasantville, NY

ProCare Therapy is hiring for Special Education Teachers in New York! This is a wonderful opportunity with a fantastic school district in the area while expanding or building experience in the special education teaching field. The district is actively holding interviews with potential of offering renewals to work for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year! Some details are below:

• Full-Time
  • School hours are from 8:30  a.m. - 3:05 p.m.
• Starting March 5, 2024 until end of school year
  • Extension into 2024-2025 school year will be dependent upon performance
• K-2 caseload 
  • 3-6 students
  • Behavioral, physical, and intellectual disabilities
• Onsite
• General duties including but not limited to:
  • Develop lesson plans
  • Consultations
  • Report Writing
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team

Requirements:

• Active NY Special Education Teacher license with Elementary Endorsement 
• Previous schools experience preferred

• Average of $35-45
